How to Watch NFL Sunday Ticket on YouTube TV (2026)

You open YouTube TV on Sunday expecting to find your favorite NFL team, only to realize the game is being shown in another market. That is where NFL Sunday Ticket can help. It gives you access to eligible out-of-market Sunday afternoon games that you would not normally get through your local CBS or FOX station.

There is one important catch: Sunday Ticket does not include every NFL game. I checked the current service details and common viewer questions to explain which games are included, how to subscribe, where you can watch, and when the subscription may actually be worth the cost.

This guide is for NFL fans who follow teams outside their local market and want a simple way to watch more Sunday afternoon games through YouTube TV.

What Is NFL Sunday Ticket?

NFL Sunday Ticket is a subscription service that lets you watch out-of-market Sunday afternoon NFL games.

“Out-of-market” means games that are not being shown on your local CBS or FOX station.

For example, if you live in an area where your local CBS station is showing one Sunday afternoon game, Sunday Ticket can give you access to other eligible Sunday afternoon games being played in different markets.

However, Sunday Ticket does not include every NFL game.

Games NFL Sunday Ticket Generally Does Not Include

NFL Sunday Ticket generally does not include:

• Local Sunday afternoon games.
• Sunday Night Football.
• Monday Night Football.
• NFL playoff games.
• The Super Bowl.

Some of these games may still be available through YouTube TV’s regular channels or other services, depending on the broadcast rights and your location.

This is important because buying Sunday Ticket does not mean you get every NFL game of the season.

How to Get NFL Sunday Ticket on YouTube TV

If you want to subscribe, you can purchase NFL Sunday Ticket through YouTube TV.

Follow these steps:

1. Open YouTube TV and sign in with your Google account.
2. Look for the NFL Sunday Ticket option.
3. Review the available subscription and current offer.
4. Select the plan you want.
5. Complete the purchase.
6. Once your subscription is active, eligible Sunday Ticket games will appear in YouTube TV.

The exact screens and offers can change, so use the information shown in your YouTube TV account when subscribing.

How Much Does NFL Sunday Ticket Cost?

NFL Sunday Ticket pricing can change during the NFL season.

YouTube may also offer different prices, promotions, or discounts depending on when you subscribe and whether you qualify for a particular offer.

Because of this, I would not rely on an old price listed in another article or video.

Before purchasing, check the current price displayed by YouTube TV. Also look at the terms of the offer so you know what you are paying for.

How to Watch NFL Sunday Ticket Games

Once your subscription is active, you can use the YouTube TV app to find eligible games.

You can search for NFL games directly or browse the available sports programming.

YouTube TV supports viewing on several types of devices, including:

• Smart TVs.
• Streaming devices.
• Smartphones.
• Tablets.
• Computers.

Your exact viewing experience can depend on the device and internet connection you use.

Watch Multiple NFL Games With Multiview

YouTube TV also offers Multiview for supported programming.

Multiview lets you watch multiple games on the same screen instead of switching between individual broadcasts.

This can be useful on busy NFL Sundays when several games are happening at the same time.

Availability of specific Multiview combinations can vary, so check YouTube TV on game day to see the available options.

Do You Need YouTube TV for NFL Sunday Ticket?

NFL Sunday Ticket is available through YouTube and can be purchased through YouTube TV.

You do not need to assume that every NFL game will be included simply because you have a Sunday Ticket subscription.

The subscription focuses on eligible out-of-market Sunday afternoon games. Other NFL broadcasts follow their own TV and streaming arrangements.

Before subscribing, think about the games you actually watch.

If you mainly watch your local team, Sunday Ticket may provide less value because local Sunday afternoon games are generally excluded.

If you follow several teams from different markets, the service can be more useful because you can access eligible games that are outside your local market.

Is NFL Sunday Ticket Worth It?

It depends on what you want to watch.

NFL Sunday Ticket may be worth considering if you:

• Follow teams outside your local market.
• Want to watch several Sunday afternoon games.
• Do not want to rely on your local CBS or FOX broadcast.
• Regularly watch NFL games on Sunday afternoons.
• Want access to multiple out-of-market games from one service.

You may not need it if you:

• Mainly watch your local NFL team.
• Mostly watch Sunday Night Football.
• Watch Monday Night Football more often.
• Mainly care about playoff games or the Super Bowl.
• Already have another way to watch the games you follow.

The key point is to check which games you actually need before paying for the subscription.

Things to Check Before Subscribing

Before you purchase NFL Sunday Ticket, check these points:

• The current subscription price.
• Any promotional offer available to you.
• Which games are included.
• Whether the games you want are considered out-of-market.
• Which device you plan to use.
• Your internet connection.
• Whether you already receive some NFL games through YouTube TV channels.

This can help you avoid paying for a service when the games you want are already available through another channel.
